    Reblogged this on and commented:
Cops were assholes for not shooting earlier when suspect refused to drop the knife. At least he will get a nice slow and bumpy ride to the hospital and eventually, the morgue.

Guess he brought a knife to a gunfight.
A little more backround please. What country was this ?
Looks like he was shot with a pistol. The cops seemed determined to form a circular firing squad.
Facing some loco amigo with a big knife seems like a good time to shoot.

  3. Looks like one of those events that causes a major change in the attitudes and practices of a police department. I hate to see this kind of thing, but I hope that people take away a better understanding of the danger represented by a motivated stabber. Oh yeah, 21 feet is too close.

Note: AK-47 works best when actually pointed at the threat.

Looks like this video very vividly demonstrates what Lt. Col. Dave Grossman wrote about in his book “On Killing.” The majority of people, regardless of how much they swagger and brag, are not really capable of taking human life, at least not very easily. That is not really a criticism. In reality it shows that human nature is better than many realize. Only a small minority of human beings can kill without a shred of remorse. Some are sociopaths and some are, as Grossman wrote, highly successful in public life and often highly successful politicians. 🙂
