Knife Spotlight: CRKT Crawford-Kasper

Knife Spotlight: CRKT Crawford-Kasper

For the last 11 years I have favored using the Crawford-Kasper folding knife for everyday carry (EDC) and defensive use in places where guns cannot (legally) go.

I like it for a number of reasons.

1)It is has a good weight to it that allows for blunt impact strikes.

2)The blade is rather sharp out of the box.

3)The L.A.W.K.S switch on the top compensates for the side to side blade movement lock vulnerability that is common in liner-lock knives.

4)The pommel of the knife handle juts out for strikes.

5)They are currently less than $30 on Amazon right now. It is difficult to find a folding knife that offers that much quality at such a low price.

Now if only there was a pointed Wharncliffe version of this knife…
